I went to the latest status conference in Dallas on Wednesday. There has not been much progress. The court promised more progress in the near future. On the issue that defendants are prolonging this case to somehow have a federal law passed capping damages, I am not sure of the motives of the defendants, but I personally believe that congress cannot pass a prospective law limiting damages in already filed cases. So I question that aspect of the motives of the defendants.

It was apparent to me at the meeting before the Judge that no one has any scientific proof as to the reason for the failures of the other configurations of the Pinnacle hips except for those that are strictly MOM. No one even knows the details of the over 1200 cases now in the MDL as to how many are stictly MOM as opposed to MOP or MOC etc. The plaintiffs' committee are in the process of calling plaintiff counsel in all the filed cases to determine the number of cases that allege failures in each configuration. In other words, we are months away from even this rudimentary, fundamental report.

My doctor gave me simcor for a short period and I took myself
off because the muscle cramps were so severe I could stand it.
It has affected my sciatic and all of the muscles down both legs.
I had to have an epidural and it has helped somewhat but I have
a long way to go. Is there anything that I can do to restore the damaged muscles?

I had a bad situation in 2009 where my small intestine fell right out thru my vaginal wall. ofcourse the gynacologist acts oblivious to the fact that maybe it should not have happened. how do I know ? I had a full hysterectomy , rectocele and cystocele in 2006. only 9 mos. later I started to protrude again or bulge. eventually it ripped right thru my vaginal wall.
